Alba DVD165SIL DVD Player - Silver

Not what I expected, but ok! - I m slightly dissapointed with this product after reading previous reviews. Don t get me wrong, it plays great, just a few points i thought i should make. Firstly it only works through one of the 3 scart inputs on my tv, the picture on other two is blurred with a strong green haze. Never had this problem before with any other dvd/playstation/vcr/freeview etc scart connection.Secondly, there is no on/off button on the remote, which i find slightly odd. To me it kinda defeats the point of having a remote if you still have to get up to turn it on or off! Having said that, for the price it seems a fairly decent multi region player, and I am happy with the quality of the picture & sound

What a easy DVD player to use - I am not in to gadgets as such, typical female but this DVD is super and for the price it is great and so neat. so smart it does what it says. I highly recommand it.

Very impressed! - Plays CDs, CD-rs, DVDs(all regions), is compact, easy to set up and a reliable make. £34.99 is not a bad price either. Need i say more?

wanted a dvd player to play american dvd s - Like the previous reviewer I wanted a dvd to play the American dvd s. I would like to say thank you to him for the commentary. I immediately placed my order got it delivered in good time and was more than happy as it played my dvd s no problem. Can honestly say am well chuffed!

Works great! - I admit to being anything but an electronic gadget fanatic. I just like stuff that is easy to use and works well. I wanted a multi-region DVD player so I could watch some US DVDs I had bought. This player does a great job with them, was easy to install, and is working without a hitch.That s all I wanted.
